The Flowered Apron is owned by Karen Ressel, a long time Bar Harbor local, knitter and sewist. Karen brings her many talents and passions to this business, offering one-of-a-kind aprons for the entire family and unique fiber curiosities.

In the spirit of the colorful and nostalgic aprons of the past, Karen’s handwork evokes memories of grandmother’s kitchen and simpler times. Using vintage and contemporary fabrics and trims, Karen sews aprons for the here and now.

The Flowered Apron draws together Karen's many talents and passions into a unique business, bringing her high quality handmade items and keen eye for design to the Bar Harbor community and beyond.
